Unlike her lower body, which had already loosened from their long lovemaking, Ruad moved slowly, careful not to push too deep into her throat.

Lucia adjusted in rhythm, tightening and relaxing her throat to stimulate the tip while licking up the shaft with her wet tongue.

“Haa….”

Their saliva and precum mixed wetly in her mouth. Sticky sounds echoed not only from below but now from above as well.

“It feels so good, Lucy… so good….”

“Mmph, ngh… um….”

Though her words were unintelligible, Lucia closed her eyes for a moment, then began moving her head more eagerly, sucking his cock deep into her throat.

“Ah, Lucy…!”

Ruad forgot how to move his hips, trembling where he sat, lost in pleasure. His grip on the bed’s headboard tightened, veins bulging across the back of his hand.

As he desperately tried to hold back, Lucia’s tongue, which had been licking up the shaft, brushed against the sensitive spot behind the tip.

“Haa, ugh!”

In that instant, the urge he’d been suppressing surged up violently. His entire body tingled with pleasure like an electric current.

“Ah, fuck. Damn.”

Ruad spat out the curses he had tried not to say in front of her, then grabbed the back of Lucia’s head and thrust roughly into her mouth.

“Mmph, ngh, ugh, mmph!”

Even as Lucia’s muffled moans of discomfort rang out from the intense pace, he couldn’t stop his hips.

“I’m sorry, ngh, sorry, Lucy. Just a bit more. Just a bit….”

“Ugh….”

Ruad kept apologizing between thrusts, yet he still drove his member deep into her tightening throat and released.

Lucia’s eyes welled with tears as her throat was blocked by the thick shaft, but she calmly swallowed the semen.

When Ruad finally leaned back and pulled out his member, there wasn’t a single drop of semen left inside her mouth. It was spotless.

She had swallowed every bit he had spilled.

Ruad licked his lips at the faintly perverse sight, but as he heard Lucia’s ragged breathing, struggling for air, he snapped back to himself.

Tears hung on the corners of her eyes, and a thin line of saliva trailed from her slightly parted lips.

“Lucy, I’m sorry. I got too excited and couldn’t control myself.”

“It’s fine. I’m the one who said you could finish inside.”

When Ruad brushed her lips with his fingertips in worry, Lucia weakly pushed his hand away.

‘What was that?’

Her half-hearted rejection didn’t match the intensity of what had just happened between them.

For a brief moment, Ruad felt a strange unease, but before he could think more, Lucia, her eyes heavy with drowsiness, sprawled onto the bed.

“Can I rest now? I’m too tired to do any more.”

“Ah… yeah. You can rest. Just relax.”

The strange unease that he couldn’t quite name only lasted a moment before fading away at Lucia’s soft complaint. Ruad quickly changed his expression.

Seeing that Lucia didn’t even seem to have the strength to lift a finger, he adjusted her pillow for her, covered her with a clean blanket so she wouldn’t get cold, and then sat down beside her, gently stroking her hair as he watched her drift off to sleep.

“You just took a bath, and now you’re all sweaty again.”

“…I want to wash up, but I don’t have the strength left.”

“It’s fine. You can wash later, slowly.”

“The blanket will get dirty.”

“I don’t care.”

“That’s good, then.”

As they spoke softly, Lucia’s eyes gradually closed. Her long lashes rested neatly against her cheeks, and her once-labored breathing grew even and calm.

Ruad quietly watched her sleeping face for a long moment, then whispered softly, “I’m sorry about today.”

He hadn’t expected an answer, but Lucia’s lips parted slightly. Her voice, heavy with sleep, came out faintly.

“…About what?”

“Just… everything. I shouldn’t have asked you to go to the cafeteria with me for no reason. If I’d been there with you, you wouldn’t have had that hot soup spilled on you.”

“….”

“I’m sorry.”

Lucia responded calmly to his careful apology, “You don’t have to be sorry. I’m used to things like that, and it didn’t really bother me. And….”

Lucia paused for a moment. After some time passed, long enough to wonder whether she was thinking or had already fallen asleep, she spoke again.

“It’s not something you need to worry about anyway.”

“….”

“I’m sorry for making you uncomfortable in many ways.”

Instead of accepting his apology, Lucia returned it, and then her breathing slowly quieted, as if she had fallen asleep.

He saw the tension fade from the muscles of her face.

‘What is this feeling? It’s pleasant, but also strange.’

Ruad quietly stared at Lucia’s face, lost in thought.

He had apologized to Lucia, and she had accepted it. Yet, for some reason, he still felt uneasy.

It was like a cog that had always fit smoothly into place had suddenly slipped off track and stopped moving in some unknown corner of his mind.

Ruad thought about it for a long time, trying to figure out the cause of that uneasy feeling, but in the end, he couldn’t find an answer.

***

Lucia was acting strange.

She wouldn’t talk to him.

No, that wasn’t the only strange thing.

Whenever he approached, Lucia—who used to always call his name and meet his eyes—showed no reaction at all.

Even when he sat beside her or greeted her with a soft “Hey,” she only glanced at him once before returning to silence.

Even the way she looked at him had changed. Before, her eyes had always carried warmth and affection, like a friend’s. But now, there was no trace of emotion at all.

On the contrary, her gaze was so cold and indifferent that just looking into it hurt.

Ruad couldn’t understand what he had done wrong for Lucia’s attitude to change so suddenly overnight.

Lucia had clearly said that she saw him as more than a friend.

They had confirmed their feelings for each other, and hadn’t they spent hours together, forgetting even to eat lunch?

Not only had Lucia been willing in bed, but she had even taken him into her mouth and swallowed everything.

Of course, there had been moments when something had felt slightly off, a faint sense of discomfort here and there, but it was such a small thing. Nothing serious enough to end their relationship.

It couldn’t be revenge for the awful soup accident either.

He had apologized for that sincerely, and Lucia hadn’t seemed particularly upset. In fact, she had even said she felt sorry for troubling him.

And that day, they had both genuinely enjoyed their time together.

When Lucia woke up from her nap, they had shared an early dinner, talked for a long time, and before night fell, he had handed her freshly washed and newly prepared clothes.

There had been some unpleasant moments, yes, but they had faded quickly, and through it all, Lucia had never seemed uncomfortable around him.

So there was absolutely no reason for her attitude to change so drastically, to treat him like a pebble lying on the roadside.

They had just confirmed their feelings for each other. They hadn’t said out loud that they were dating, but in all but name, they were a couple.

Ruad had planned to confess properly, define their relationship clearly, go on dates together, study side by side, and protect her from anyone who tried to bother her—to finally live as a real couple.

But all those plans were shattered.

At first, he thought she was avoiding him out of embarrassment. After all, since they had slept together, it made sense that seeing his face might remind her of what happened.

But as the days went by—three, four days—that assumption naturally crumbled.

Ruad tried his best to act as if nothing had changed, to behave like before, but it was no use at all with Lucia.

Even when he sat beside her in the library and offered her the snacks she liked, she didn’t even glance his way. She showed no sign of wanting to take them, no will to accept anything from him.

Every time it happened, Ruad’s heart burned like dry paper.

If only he knew the reason behind this, he thought. But since Lucia wouldn’t even answer when he spoke to her, there was no way to find out why she was treating him so coldly.

While Ruad spent every night reflecting on his own mistakes and searching for the cause of Lucia’s sudden change, time continued to pass, and soon it was time for the class they shared.

Today’s lesson was a practical session to apply what they had been learning in theory, so instead of their usual lecture hall, they gathered at the outdoor practice grounds.

The students were thrilled simply because they didn’t have to be trapped inside a dull classroom for five long hours.

Among all of them, the only ones who didn’t look happy were Ruad and Lucia.

As soon as he spotted Lucia, Ruad walked up to her, driven by some emotion he couldn’t tell was stubbornness or desperation.

“Hi, Lucy,” he greeted her.

“….”

Lucia didn’t even look his way. She ignored him completely, as if he were invisible.

At that moment, something inside Ruad’s chest surged up violently.

‘There’s no reason to ignore someone like this. What did I even do wrong?’

He cast off the mask of the kind, considerate friend he always wore in front of Lucia and asked the question, his fists clenched in silence.

“Why are you acting like this? Did I do something wrong? Why haven’t you talked to me or answered when I call you since that day?”

“….”

“If I did something you don’t like, tell me. I’ll fix it if you just say it.”

“….”

“What did I do so wrong that you’ve been ignoring me for a whole week?”

At his outburst, Lucia finally turned her head and looked at him.

It had been so long since their eyes had met that Ruad felt a strange pang in his chest. But what he saw in her brown eyes wasn’t affection or guilt; it was pure indifference.

The look she gave him was the same one a spectator might have when watching a stranger lose their mind in public.

In that moment, Ruad felt his heart drop beneath his feet.

The cold look in her eyes made him feel as if the day they confirmed their feelings for each other and came together as more than friends had all been nothing but his own illusion.

It wasn’t the face of someone looking at the person they loved.

‘So… that day really was just my imagination?’

“Lucy….”

Ruad could only whisper her name, unable to believe what he was seeing.

No, it couldn’t be. They had been fine. They’d gone to class together every day, shared snacks, even gone on small outings around campus.

He was her only friend, and she had accepted that, hadn’t she? It had all felt so natural, as if love had simply grown between them.

All those thoughts spun through his mind, but none left his lips. It felt like his throat was blocked, keeping him from saying anything at all.

All he could feel was the dull, tearing pain spreading through his chest, as if his heart had been ripped into eight pieces.

While Ruad swallowed his words and was swept up in the storm of emotion inside him, the professor entered the practice grounds.

The students, who had been chatting in small groups, quickly stopped talking and returned to their seats.

Ruad stayed by Lucia’s side for a while, but under the weight of the stares directed at him, he eventually returned to his own place, moving slowly, as if drained of all strength.
