Their bodies lifted slightly, then dropped back down. The lips that had been pressed together naturally parted.

“Ahh…!”

Melia bit down on her lower lip, swallowing her moan.

‘Th-that’s too deep.’

The soft seat cushioned the impact as much as it could, but that was not the problem.

Her body plunged down onto his shaft in one motion, causing fierce friction along her inner walls. It felt like a bolt of lightning striking straight through her.

Melia’s body trembled as she clung tightly to Hailon.

The stimulation was too intense.

“W-wait a moment….”

“What is it, Melia. You like things like this.”

As if he had no intention of stopping, he relentlessly thrust his lower body upward and whispered into Melia’s ear.

“Should I ask the driver to take the stone road on the way back?”

You’re enjoying this too much.

The playful voice he added was filled with delight.

“Hh, ah, wh-why?”

If he said it was because her reactions, panting and whining like this at every movement, were so amusing, what kind of response would she make?

He planned to hold back today.

But Melia right in front of him was too beautiful, and like a dog in heat, he couldn’t possibly leave her alone.

“Ng, ahh!”

The sight of Melia trembling in his arms was excessively obscene.

That was why his cock kept lifting its head again and again.

Hailon let out a low groan.

Even today, the relic’s effects had never activated. Melia didn’t know it, but in truth, even for Hailon, the traces of the relic were gradually fading.

So what?

Melia didn’t know.

He planned to make her grow accustomed to it.

So that even without the relic’s effects, she would still come into his arms like this.

So that he would become the one closest to Melia Anderson.

“H-Hailon…, I c-can’t, anymore….”

Unaware of what was going through Hailon’s mind, Melia gasped for breath, overwhelmed by the pleasure he gave her.

The thick tip slammed violently into her deepest place dozens of times.

Thrust.

When her innermost depths were targeted, Melia’s inner walls finally clenched tightly.

“Ugh, ah!”

As if she couldn’t endure the wave of climax crashing over her, she squeezed her eyes shut.

Clamping down hard around his shaft, her body shook violently as if an earthquake had erupted inside her.

“Ghk.”

With a low groan, Hailon soon poured his load deep inside Melia’s body.

Feeling the hot proof of arousal spreading within her, Melia drew several shaky breaths.

“Haa. Hah….”

How many seconds passed as her chest heaved, desperately searching for oxygen?

She felt the carriage begin to slow.

Already?

Melia whispered in flustered surprise, “Hailon. It feels like we’re… here.”

From the look of it, the carriage had already reached its destination.

Once the carriage stopped completely, the driver would announce their arrival and open the door.

A troubled look crossed Melia’s face.

“Quickly, we need to fix our clothes….”

Stop.

The carriage no longer rolled forward.

After climbing down from atop Hailon, Melia hurriedly straightened her disheveled clothes.

She adjusted the dress that had slipped down to expose her chest and carefully smoothed out the layers of tangled silk fabric, aligning them along the grain.

Thankfully, the high-quality material soon lost its wrinkles and returned to its original form.

Knock, knock.

“We have arrived, Young Duke.”

Just as Melia barely finished tidying herself up, the driver announced their arrival.

Yet only then did Hailon leisurely begin to put his clothes back in order.

‘What are you doing? Hurry.’

Melia urged him with the shape of her lips.

‘What if it opens?’

Her heart thumped anxiously in her chest.

Click.

At the sound of the door cracking open, Melia’s head snapped around.

No. Her face drained of color in shock.

But mercilessly, the carriage door opened.

This is bad, Hailon still hasn’t….

Melia sucked in a sharp breath and glanced over. But Hailon was already dressed as neatly as when they first boarded.

…Thank goodness.

Melia let out a sigh of relief. The driver, who only opened the door and stepped aside, looked as if he noticed nothing.

“Shall we go, Melia?”

Melia pouted at Hailon, who asked so calmly, completely unaware of her inner turmoil.

Why was he so relaxed? It made her feel irritated for no reason.

“Please take good care of me on the way back too.”

And then he even added something like that.

“I’ll make sure to tell them to choose a route with plenty of stones.”

Melia’s face turned bright red.

But she didn’t dislike it. The fact that Hailon continued to want her like this.

She was glad they had grown close enough to exchange lighthearted, joking words.

She could feel the distance between them gradually shrinking.

Even so, at the same time, she felt uneasy.

In truth, she’d noticed it for a while now.

Compared to how often Hailon desired her, the frequency of the urges that came to Melia herself was gradually decreasing.

Starting with her, perhaps the effect would slowly fade for Hailon as well. It was an artifact that couldn’t be predicted at all.

…If the artifact’s effects disappeared completely, what would happen?

Would they end up remaining nothing more than an ordinary tutor and student?

Melia’s eyes darkened as she headed toward the banquet hall.

***

The hall where the seasonal party was held was always splendid. But this time, it shone even more dazzlingly.

Perhaps it was because someone’s appearance, someone who had never participated before, was anticipated.

The students of Erpen cast quick glances around the hall, searching for that person.

“They said he’s definitely coming today.”

“Isn’t it just a rumor?”

“Maybe.”

It was clear that everyone was looking for the same person.

“Well, there’s no way that Hailon would come.”

“No, I heard he definitely submitted an application.”

“Even if that’s true, who’s his partner? Did anyone here receive a partner request?”

No one could answer that question.

Because truly, no one had received one.

Is it really just a false rumor? Just as everyone began to think that, the doorman announced someone’s entrance in a booming voice.

“His Grace, Young Duke Hailon Alfred, and his partner, are entering!”

As if on cue, every conversation in the hall stopped at once. All eyes gathered in a single instant.

Slowly, the main doors of the hall opened.

Without exception, everyone stared in shock. Because there truly was a partner standing beside Hailon Alfred.

“Who is that girl?”

“Light-colored hair? Was there someone like that at Erpen? Clearly….”

Everyone was busy speculating about her identity.

Then the answer came out.

“Isn’t that her? The top student.”

“What?”

Catherine’s eyes narrowed sharply.

The top student, Melia Anderson?

‘It’s really her!’

Why did she not recognize her right away? Now that she looked again, it was obvious. That infuriating face.

Catherine’s body trembled as she stared at Melia.

Why’s that girl clinging to Hailon Alfred’s side?

‘W-wait. That fabric!’

Catherine’s eyes widened.

Having long coveted Madame Charlette’s dresses, Catherine could immediately recognize it.

Which atelier the dress Melia Anderson was wearing belonged to.

‘Is she crazy?’

Catherine bit down hard on her lower lip.

Just how did she manage to sweet-talk that Alfred?

It was already irritating enough that despite being poor, she was always ranked above her on the grade report.

Now she had even stolen Charlette’s dress, and on top of that, she was drawing all the attention as Hailon Alfred’s partner.

Crunch.

Catherine clenched her jaw tightly as she glared at Melia, who was smiling brightly while looking around the banquet hall.

She couldn’t possibly endure this humiliation.

***

A beautiful melody filled the hall, and pleasing finger foods were laid out everywhere.

And no matter what anyone said, the most eye-catching pair was Hailon and Melia.

As the two danced in the center of the dance hall, holding hands and facing each other, everyone busied themselves guessing what kind of relationship they had.

Once this song ended, it would be time for a break. When that happened, more than a few people planned to rush straight to Melia.

They were dying to ask how Melia, the top student who was otherwise invisible, always buried in the library, had managed to become Hailon’s partner.

“Rosha, do you know anything?”

Rosha’s brother asked her. It was only natural, since he felt the same curiosity as everyone else.

“I don’t really know either. But they look good together.”

Rosha simply watched the two with a satisfied smile, without giving the answer her brother wanted.
